Lauren, you're a good writer but honestly I HATE your methods of teasing readers for a complete book, or at least a complete piece of a series. Yes, I like series. But not the way you tease and do your so-called marketing to trick readers into thinking they're getting the Whole Enchilada. I'm not reading anymore of your books. I love Kristen Ashley's books and each book in her series, I love Toni Anderson's romantic suspense - because, again, she delivers the whole story. Not tricking people into buying pieces of the story, providing sex scene after sex scene that really don't add up to shit. I am done with you. I'm sure you're laughing, but you see, I'm a smart reader, a heavy reader, and I also write romance novels - even though I'm really very physically sick and the work is demanding. You lost what could have been a loyal fan. I've read all of Ashley's Rock Chick series (8 long books that are much more than one sex scene after another) and about 6 more of her books from her many series. I'm just getting started with Toni Anderson, who is a commanding, knowledgable who does her research and her books both thrill and scare the wits out of me - 5 of her Cold Justice books, all long, all complete and completed stories. I've read your prequel and the second of the Seductive Nights - but at this point I won't even finish it. You're a waste of my time and money. Bonne chance, honey - you're going to need it.
